Stephenie Meyer Announces New Twilight Book – Told From Edward Cullen’s POV

Twilight fans rejoice. Author Stephenie Meyer, had a countdown on her website recently and only this morning has announced exactly what it was for, but not without fans speculating wildly beforehand. It was of course a countdown to her next book.

Her new novel, which she confirmed this morning, is called Midnight Sun. The book, is to be a spin off from the original Twilight series, but written from the point of view of Edward Cullen.

Fans of Twilight will more than likely already be familiar with the name. Back in 2008, a few chapters of the book were leaked and Stephanie stopped working on it soon afterwards. At the time she said; “I feel too sad about what has happened to continue working on Midnight Sun, and so it is on hold indefinitely.”

Prepare to feel old, as the last book in the Twilight saga was released over ten years ago now, so die-hard fans have waited a long time for this.

The latest instalment in the hit series of books will be released on August 4th.
