Students Show Off Sustainable Style At aparto’s Feel Good Fashion Show

STELLAR PROMOTION: All for a good cause!

Sustainable style descended on aparto’s Binary Hub residence this month, as students showed off their style in a fabulous event in aid of charity.

aparto’s Feel Good Fashion Show returned for a fifth year, and saw students and some very special guests enjoy an exciting fashion show and thrifting – all for a good cause.

This year, aparto partnered with two amazing causes: Oxfam and new charity partner the Down Syndrome Centre, to bring sustainable style to the heart of the Liberties.

Stylist Irene O’Brien was on hosting duties, while DJ Steve Cooper was spinning some serious tunes.

The night kicked off with some delicious cocktails by Teeling Whiskey Distillery and refreshments from High Noon, before students living in aparto residences took to the catwalk to show off some of their best looks.

There was even a dance flash mob in the middle of the show – incredible!

What’s more is that all of the pieces showcased on the runway were available to thrift afterwards – all in aid of Oxfam and the Down Syndrome Centre.

And trust us, those clothes did not last long on those rails!
