Surprise! Mindy Kaling Has Given Birth To A Baby Boy

Mindy Kaling has shocked fans last night, announcing that she has given birth to her second child.

Announcing the news on a virtual interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Stephen prompted Mindy to share a secret, to which she replied:

“I’m telling it for the first time now, it feels so strange. But I gave birth to a baby boy on Sept. 3.”

Replying back Stephen said: “No one even knew you were pregnant!”

Mindy agreed that this will come as a huge surprise to many people.

While she’s still remaining quiet about her new son, she did reveal his name, which is Spencer.

This isn’t the first time Mindy has kept an entire pregnancy under wraps, however. The actress gave birth to her three-year-old girl back in 2017, keeping much of her pregnancy private at the time. She’s also kept the identity of her little girl’s father a secret too.

OG The Office fans will probably already know that Mindy did date co-star B.J Novak for a number of years after meeting on set of The Office. The two were on and off for many years and eventually made the decision to part ways but remain friends, he is now the godfather of her daughter, Katherine.
