Tanya Burr Has Finally Opened Up About The Breakdown Of Her Marriage To Jim Chapman

We were all a little bit shook when back in March, Youtube power couple Tanya Burr and Jim Chapman announced that they were divorcing after being together for over 12 years.

The pair met as high school sweethearts, and shared their relationship across both of their ever expanding Youtube channels, before tying the knot in 2015.

In true social media star form, they announced their split with a simple Instagram story each, explaining that they had made the decision to part ways, but remained in each other’s lives as friends.

Now, we totally respect any couple’s right to privacy, but after years of following these two and seeing into their daily lives via vlogs, it was a bit of a hard pill to swallow – especially as neither Tanya nor Jim addressed the situation once their Insta story had run its 24 hour course.

Fast forward 8 months, and Jim is in a new relationship with model Sarah Tarleton, and Tanya has now decided to have her say!

Speaking to The Telegraph’s Stella Magazine, the 30-year-old revealed she has had a tough time of it this year, but she ‘see’s the light at the end of the tunnel.’

“There have been a lot of lows this year, it’s been really difficult,’ Tan shared.

‘I’ve been there, where I’ve seen someone saying, “Ooh, have you heard so-and-so and so-and-so have split?” and then thought, “Let me look that up,”’

‘It’s what people do. I’m not angry with anyone. People are just being people. It’s hard and horrible. I’ll never google myself again.

“All that matters is what Jim and I think. It’s boring – he’s still my best friend. We’ve been best friends for 12 years, [but] people will want some drama from it.

“We’re always going to be in each other’s lives, hopefully.’

So there we have it, closure… right?
