Tara Kumar Has Just Landed Her Dream Gig

Yes, Tara Kumar has just revealed that she’s after landing a role of a lifetime and it’s with none other than hit station BBC Radio 1.

Taking to Instagram to share the news, the radio presenter and DJ couldn’t wait to tell her followers after keeping it a secret for so long.

“The hardest secret I’ve ever had to keep. I’m so excited to share that I’ll be on @bbcradio1 this Christmas covering @claraamfo’s Future Sounds,” wrote Tara.

Adding: “I have to keep reading that sentence cause I can’t believe it’s true!!”

“A dream and goal that I’ve been visioning most of my life and I can’t believe it’s actually happening,” she continued.

“From the middle of the outback of Australia via Dublin to one of the most iconic and legendary radio shows in the world. I’m truly feeling in awe of it all.”

Just a few months ago, Tara bid farewell to her 2FM slot here in Ireland after six years in order to make the big move to London.

Speaking To VIP Magazine at the time about her decision, Tara admitted: “I wanted a fresh start. I wanted to move to London.”

And it certainly looks like it paid off, as the DJ prepares to celebrate the holiday season like never before!

Telling her followers: “I couldn’t think of a better way to finish what has been a life-changing year”
