Taylor Swift Announces 1989 (Taylor’s Version) Is Coming!

New tracks are pending!

Taylor Swift sent fans into a frenzy this morning (or tonight, depending where you are in the world) when she announced live on stage at the final LA Show of the tour that 1989 (Taylor’s Version) would be coming our way in under three months.

Taylor Nation, the social media account that updates us on all things Taylor, went live on Instagram at 7.30am GMT this morning 10th August. Fans had been speculating that an announcement would be coming during the Los Angeles shows, so when the update account went live it caused a stir among fans – we audibly gasped!

Taylor made a speech at the show thanking her fans for all of their support with the re-recorded albums, saying that they were meant as a personal thing for herself but her fans have given them a life of their own. She then proceeded to point out that her 1989 dress which is usually green was blue tonight, before pointing to the screen behind her where a visual announcing the brand new re-record appeared on the screen including a release date – October 27th!

Taylor took to Instagram immediately to announce the news to the rest of the world, posting the album’s artwork. In the caption she revealed that 1989 was the album that changed her life “in countless ways”. She mentions that there will be five tracks from the vault, which has got fans very excited and hoping for a Harry Styles collaboration – we’re delusional we know!

She captioned the post: “Surprise!! 1989 (Taylor’s Version) is on its way to you 🔜! The 1989 album changed my life in countless ways, and it fills me with such excitement to announce that my version of it will be out October 27th. To be perfectly honest, this is my most FAVOURITE re-record I’ve ever done because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane. I can’t believe they were ever left behind. But not for long! Pre order 1989 (Taylor’s Version) on my site.”

We literally can’t contain our excitement!
