It’s finally here! (We think)

It looks like Taylor Swift has given fans another clue that her next rereleased album will be 1989. The singer, who is notorious for dropping hints as to what her next projects are has just revealed the biggest one yet.

This Love (Taylor’s Version) has been released after fans heard a snippet of it in the trailor for the Amazon Prime series The Summer I Turned Pretty. The song originally appeared on the 2014 album 1989 and will be on Taylor’s Version of this album too.

Taylor is currently re-recording her first six albums in a bid to own her music. Her original versions were sold to Scooter Braun in 2019, an arrangement that Taylor was reportedly unaware of until the sale became public knowledge.

Currently, she has re-recorded two of her albums Fearless, and Red, and all signs point to 1989 next.

Announcing the release of This Love (TV) she wrote, “This Love (My version!) is out & I’m currently reliving the 1989 tour in my head and spiraling, it’s fine.”

Swifties on Twitter are living for the 1989 revival as it was one of TayTay’s most iconic eras, think Blank Space, Style and Shake It Off. There are some absolute bops on this album, so it would be the perfect summer album to have on repeat.
