Taylor Swift Shows Love For ‘Bestie’ Selena Gomez’s New Song

If Taylor Swift approves…. it must be good!

Selena Gomez released her first song in nearly three years late last week, but it was the support from the one and only Miss Taylor Swift that had fans squealing with delight.

Taylor took to Instagram on Saturday night to give her “bestie” Selena Gomez a little shout-out. The pop icon shared a reel Selena created as promo for her new music video for her brand new track Single Soon.

Taylor captioned the story: “WHEN UR BESTIE IS THE BESTEST. WILL BE DANCING TO THIS FOREVER METHINKS.”

We love to see besties supporting besties.

Selena’s brand new song is all about celebrating single life. The lyrics in the first verse read: “I’m pickin’ out this dress/Tryin’ on these shoes/’Cause I’ll be single soon/I’ll be single soon/I know he’ll be a mess/When I break the news/But I’ll be single soon/I’ll be single soon.”

Selena described the song to her fans as “a fun little song I wrote a while back that’s perfect for the end of summer”.

She thanked her friends and fans for all their support in an Instagram post. She chose a black and white still from the track’s music video for the post. She then went on to caption the post: “Thank you guys for all the love on Single Soon!!! It’s a playful anthem about being comfortable in your own skin and loving your own company… and it’s also really fun to dance to!”
