Applications Now Open For New Faces To Film Sex Education Season 3
Think you're ready to flex your acting abilities? Well, Netflix is looking for you.
Although the filming of the highly anticipated season three of Sex Education was suspended due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, plans now seem to be in the pipeline yet again and the casting agents are looking for new faces to join the team.
According to Deadline, the filming of the Netflix hit show will begin later this month in south Wales, and the recruitment to find new acting talent is in full swing, with applications now open from the public.
Now, although the callout isn’t for any lead role, it could be an incredible opportunity to break into the TV industry and get your face recognised on one of the streaming service’s biggest shows.
The open audition is looking for those between the ages of 18 and 26 to apply to be an extra in the show, with filming scheduled for September in Cardiff.
Equally, the show has also put a call out for choir singers. With this, the ad asks that you send in relevant footage and that you can play ages 18-25.
“Must be local or able to travel to south Wales. Seeking clips of performances. Vocal ensembles such as gospel, a capella and traditional all welcome to apply.”
In terms of all our cast faves, it’s believed that all main cast are set to make a return this time again, including Otis (Asa Butterfield), Maeve (Emma Mackey), Otis’ mum Jean (Jillian Anderson) and the lovable Eric (Ncuti Gatwa).
Now, no release date has yet to be revealed for the third series, but we’re hoping it’s sooner rather than later. Fingers crossed.
