Everything You Need to Know About New Survival Show Outlast

Something new to binge, anyone?

Netflix has been releasing some really entertaining series so far this year, and we are only in March.

Season 4 of YOU premiered early this year, with five more episodes added this month, and it’s currently the most popular show on the streaming service. And just after one week on Netflix, MH370: The Plane That Disappeared has already got countless people talking about the unsolved mystery of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370.

It’s safe to say that there’s plenty to be watching. Now, let us recommend something else.

Outlast is a new survival show that recently arrived on the streaming service. Produced by Jason Bateman, this series sees 16 survivalists spilt into groups of four, and battle it out in the Alaskan Wilderness. That’s it, that’s the whole show.

But who can last the longest? Speaking to E! News, contestant Jill Ashock teased: “I know people think that they’re getting ready to watch just another survival wilderness kind of reality TV show,” but “they’re in for a rude awakening.”

Just like any other survival show, there has to be a winner – and the contestants of Outlast have a $1 million cash prize to claim. Of course that means that they’re less likely to form bonds with each other, and more likely to do whatever they can to win. Jill went on: “I’m gonna tell you right now, when the cameras are off, people will really show you who they truly are.”

Sounds like this is right up our street.
