That's so muggy.

Can you imagine Love Island without Chloe Burrows? Because we sure can’t.

But the Islander and 2021 runner up just recently admitted that she was scouted for another show prior to appearing on the seventh season of the hit dating show.

Revealing that she originally applied for the show in 2020, before withdrawing her application due to the pandemic, Chloe continued by adding that ITV had other plans for her; and by other plans, we mean they wanted to put her forward for a different show.

The 25-year-old was asked to go on ITV2’s brand new dating show Ready To Mingle – which premiered earlier this month.

The reality game show sees 12 guys trying to impress one single girl, however, there’s a big twist. Only half the boys are single and ready to mingle, while the rest are taken and only compete with their partners’ permission to win a cash prize.

Madness, we know.

And although we know Chloe would have flourished on that show too, we’re thrilled she turned it down, and ITV came to their senses and cast her in the new season of Love Island instead.

“I got asked about a different show on ITV – and it was the one where there’s ten men in a house, some are single, some are not.

“But I didn’t want to do that one, so she said to me ‘you’d be good for Love Island’ and then the next day I got a call,” Chloe told Grazia UK.

During her time on Love Island, Chloe coupled up with Toby Aromolaran and the pair have been pretty loved up ever since they left the villa; even potentially planning a trip to Mayo. Yep.

You can read more about that here.
