Following her Academy Award winning performance in A Star Is Born, Lady Gaga is set to wow us again, this time for her role as Patrizia Reggiani in House of Gucci.
Gaga will play the wife to former Gucci fashion brand head Maurizio Gucci, played by Adam Driver, and the flick’s release is one that has everyone talking.
Since we got the first shot from the movie back in March, featuring the pair, clad in ski gear and posing on the Italian Alps, the photo went viral not only due to anticipation for the movie, but because of Adam Driver’s big sweater energy.

And now, a couple of months later, we’re after getting hit with the trailer ahead of the film’s release this November.
So what’s the movie all about?
The movie, which is a tragic, true-crime flick, follows husband and wife, Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver) and Patrizia Reggiani (Lady Gaga) as they turn victim and murder a couple years following their split. It turns out that Patrizia Reggiani organised a hitman to kill her 46-year-old ex husband and Gucci heir in his Milan office, giving her the nickname the ‘Black Widow’.
In the 90s the trial was a media spectacle, full of surprising twists and tuns that apparently nobody saw coming.
Having been sentenced to 29 years in prison, Patrizia Reggiani was released from jail in 2014 and apparently, still had no remorse towards the husband who she organised to be murdered.
Apparently, at the time when she was leaving jail, a reporter asked Patrizia why she didn’t kill him herself to which she responded:
“My eyesight is not so good. I didn’t want to miss,” wild – we know. You can read that report here.
The flick will be directed by Ridley Scott and based on Sara Gay Forden’s book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed. The movie will also star Jared Leto, Salma Hayek and Al Pacino to name a few.

Bring it on, we’re excited to see these two in action.
