The Traitors’ Diane Wants Her Own Show – And Yeah, She Should Get It, Tbh
Plz god.
Where were you when Diane from The Traitors revealed that Paul isn’t her son………. but Ross is?
She’s an icon, she’s a menace, she’s one of the most meme-d women in the world at the moment, and she will be forever mourned – Diane Carson quickly became a fan favourite on this season of The Traitors, and now she’s hoping for her own reality series.
Make it happen, please.
If you haven’t been keeping up to date with the latest instalment of the BBC reality show, you’ve been missing out.
There’s been twists, there’s been turns, there’s been performances that would rival Brendan Fraser in Oppenheimer. And then there’s been Diane; the 63-year-old bob-wielding retired teacher who had an entire episode dedicated to her funeral, that’s how much of a queen she was.
Sadly, Diane was killed by the Traitors a few episodes back, but that doesn’t mean that her reign is over. In fact, it’s just beginning.
The icon told Metro.co.uk that she’d love to continue her television appearances, and that she’s even come up with a format for her own show.
“I think it would be great to do Sunday Roasts at Diane’s House with celebrities. How good would that be!” she said. “I’d have anybody round, that would be fine! And my roast dinners aren’t as bad as Ross says.”
Diane also expressed surprise at the love she’s been receiving since appearing on The Traitors, saying that she didn’t expect to go viral at all.
“It’s mental, I’m flattered, absolutely flattered, it’s amazing!” she said. “But it is weird, really. I went on for a laugh, on a gameshow, and it’s spiralling out of control.”
Out of control, it is – but what do you expect when you’re dropping bombshells, sporting an instantly recognisable gilet, and sussing out every single person in the game immediately?
Icons only.
