WATCH: Netflix Drop First Trailer For Romantic Drama Giving Us Letters To Juliet Vibes

And it's based off Jojo Moyes' novel, The Last Letter From Your Lover.

A film that will certainly be on the radar of every diehard softie this season, The Last Letter From Your Lover, based off the very successful 2011 novel of the same name by Jojo Moyes is coming to the big screen.

Created by Netflix and StudioCanal, the movie is set to follow the same story as the book, coming to life with an incredible cast at the helm. Starring Shailene Woodley, Felicity Jone, Joe Alwyn, Callum Turner and Ncuti Gatwa to name but a few, we’re totally ready to fall hopelessly in love with this novel adaptation, like we did when Me Before You came to our screens in 2016.

So, what’s it about?

Well, the trailer was released earlier this week and it’s safe to say we’re getting major Letters to Juliet vibes if that gives you a clue.

A dual-narrative love story which takes place in present day and the 60s, following Felicity Jones (Ellie), a journalist in London who uncovers a series of letters revealing a star-crossed affair from the ’60s. She becomes obsessed with the romance between Jennifer Stirling (Shailene Woodley) and Anthony O’Hare (Callum Turner) – which we also see play out at the same time – and becomes set on finding out how their story ends.

Watch the trailer HERE!

Dropping in cinemas on August 6th – eeeek – this will be a major reason to go all out, we’re talking popcorn, minstrels, ice cream and nachos!
