What To Know About New Bombshells In The New Villa
STELLAR PROMOTION: There's 4 newbies in the villa..
Four new bombshells have entered the Love Island villa – Caprice, Poppy, Giorgio, and Will.
Well, actually, they’re in their own villa and they’ll be getting to know the islanders.
Let’s get to know them.
Name: Caprice
Age: 26
Job: Nursery Owner
From: Romford
Why did you want to be on Love Island?
I don’t do dating apps. I love going on holiday, I think I thrive in the sun. Flirting in the sun, I’ve made a lot of holiday ‘boyfriends’ so this would be perfect for me.
What are you looking for/ what’s your type?
I’m looking for 90s love. I want a man. A lot of men are quite sassy in this generation. I just want someone that’s going to treat me well. I’m also looking for a husband. I do feel like I’m getting closer to 30, I want a ring. The streets are cold. The next person I bring home needs to be my husband.
What are your red and green flags?
I hate arrogant guys. Arrogant and cocky and they think they are the prize and they are the lucky ones. Just obsessed with me, a good listener and funny.
How do you feel about potentially breaking up another couple?
It’s going to come naturally. I take no prisoners, basically.
I’m a 10 but…
I’m high-maintenance. I just want it how I want it. I’m very particular. About everything.
What’s your biggest ick?
Long fingernails and chequered boxers.
What kind of Islander do you think you’ll be?
I’m just going to be myself. So that could either be really chilled and cool, calm and collected or really funny and outgoing.
Do you have a secret skill?
Grade 8 piano, but that was a long time ago. But technically grade 8. Doesn’t mean I’m good…
Name: Giorgio
Age: 30
Job: Account Manager
Lives: Sydney, Australia. From Maidstone
How do you feel about being a bombshell?
I’m excited, it’s given me a really good opportunity to look at things from the outside so I know what I’m going in for.
Do you have your eye on any of the Islanders?
There’s a couple…I’ll keep my cards close to my chest!
How do you feel about potentially splitting up a couple?
Fine, and even more so due to the fact it’s not even been that long!
What’s your type?
I like girls with a good personality, family-oriented and fun to be around. Someone that doesn’t take life too seriously.
Are you prepared for a long distance relationship, being based in Sydney at the moment?
I’d like to show the person what Sydney’s like because it’s incredible but I’ll eventually come back to the UK because I miss my family.
What are your red flags?
Smoking is an immediate red flag and someone that doesn’t look after hygiene or is messy in general.
What are your green flags?
My sister plays pro football, so being interested in sport, they don’t have to know football or understand it, but if they can show some sort of interest because it is such a prominent thing in our family. It would be hard if they hated it. Other green flags are having a nice family, I’m sick of being the 7th wheel in my own family!
What does your sister think about you going into the Love Island Villa?
She’s really excited, she watches every year and reckons I can do well so she’s excited to see how I get on.
How have you found dating in Australia vs the UK?
It’s a very active outdoors lifestyle so normally a first date in Australia involves a coffee or a coastal walk super early in the morning, people meet up at like 7am, I can’t imagine suggesting that at home.
Which of the boys do you think you’ll gel with the most?
I’m excited to meet everyone. I think I’ll get on with Dejon, he seems like a funny guy as well as Harry and Tommy, too.
Which couples do you think may go the distance?
I think a few people are playing it a bit safe, I don’t think anyone’s completely set in there. I’m going to try and stop all the ‘closed off’ chat when I’m in there, you’re either together or you’re not.
What’s your biggest ‘ick’?
Chewing loudly!
Name: Poppy
Age: 22
Job: Dental Nurse
Lives: Stoke-on-trent
Why did you want to be on Love Island?
I’m ready to go and find love. I’m excited about what it can bring me.
What are you looking for/ what’s your type?
I like someone who has big energy but not too big. I love a good sense of humour but I basically need to keep them grounded, but for them to keep me on my toes. I do get bored quickly.
What green flags are you looking for?
I love someone who knows what they want, has got a bit of get up and go and ambition. I love that. Someone who wants more for themselves. Pushes me as well as themselves.
How do you feel about breaking up another couple?
I’m a girls’ girl but I don’t mind causing a bit of drama and getting to know everyone equally. Everyone else would.
I’m a 10 but…
I act without thinking sometimes. I can be quite spontaneous.
What’s your biggest ick?
I hate that word. My ick is the word ick! It’s a horrible word, isn’t it?
Name: Will
Age: 25
Job: Personal Trainer
From: Norfolk
Why did you want to be on Love Island?
I’m excited and looking forward to getting in there and speaking to the girls. It’s the chance to meet a soulmate, which would be great.
What’s your type?
Sporty and up for a laugh, someone who doesn’t take life too seriously but is driven and wants to do stuff in life.
What are your biggest red and green flags?
Arrogance is my biggest one and people that talk about themselves a lot. I like to share the conversation across the room. If it’s all about them, they’re probably not for me.
I’m looking for someone who is just a nice person and polite. I’m quite family-oriented, so if they are as well that would be great. Nice to look at helps and someone that’s up for a laugh.
How do you feel about being a bombshell and possibly breaking up another couple?
You have to stir the pot a bit. You’re not here to make friends, I’m not afraid to do that.
What do you think of the boys in there – will you get on?
Conor seems quite a nice person, calm and relaxed and likes sport. Also Tommy, he comes across as a chilled out guy and up for a laugh and a nice person to get to know.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I grew up on the family farm and I was named 4th fittest farmer by Farmers’ Weekly in 2023. It’s a fitness competition. It was good. A bit of a laugh, 4th in the UK is quite cool. I think about 5,000 entered. It raises awareness for mental health as well and helps build a community among young farmers who spend a lot of time in tractors on their own.
Also, I just did the Hyrox World Champs and I came 35th in the world. I’m also going to see if I can do an Iron Man later this year without any training…
