Laura Whitmore took to our screens once again last night for a Love Island reunion to officially close off this season of the popular show.
Before the reunion aired Laura took part in a Q&A on Instagram and revealed whether there may be another season this year and if she has any plans to return to Ireland.
In 2019 a winter version of the show aired, which was filmed in South Africa crowning Paige Turley and Finley Tapp the first winter Love Island winners, although according to Laura, they could also be the last…
When asked if the winter version will return the presenter said, “I reckon it’ll be once a year because last year it was six weeks, and this summer we did eight weeks which was a long oul stint. So I reckon one show a year. I don’t know, I don’t make the rules, but I reckon one show a year is perfect”.

So we may have to wait until next summer for our next Love Island fix, but we are sure this year’s contestants will keep us entertained for a few months at least!
One follower then asked Laura if she’d ever move back to Ireland, the Bray native currently lives in the UK with her husband Iain Sterling and their daughter.
Laura replied, “Yes, I love Ireland. I don’t really think of living anywhere, I’m kind of omnipresent, I’m kind of everywhere all at once. I’d like to be based in numerous places and I’m very lucky in my job that I can do that”.

We’d love to see Laura based in Ireland again, but her success can take her anywhere as she said, she can have multiple bases in different countries and that sounds pretty amazing!
