Tesco Is Now Selling Giant Avocados, But Wait Until You See The Size Of Them
We'll be making avo toast for the parish with one of these.
Just in time for weekend brunches, Tesco Ireland has announced the highly anticipated return of the “Avozilla” to select Tesco stores around the country.
Yes, you can call us basic, but nothing truly says I’m out of office like some eggs, avocado and a mimosa (in each hand).
And now, thanks to Tesco, it looks like we’re going to be making brunch for the entire town going by the size of these avos that drop in store from tomorrow Friday, August 28.
Ripe and ready to eat, avocados are not only great for slinging on the Instagram feed with the hash tag “lunch goals”, but they also have some major health benefits. Avocados are a good source of vitamins C, E, K and B-6 as well as being high in fibre and omega-3 fatty acids.
You’ll also be happy to know that these avos are naturally huge (said in Donald Trump’s voice), and not genetically modified or treated with any growth-enhancing chemicals.
From South Africa, Tesco’s Avozillas get their size from being a cross between two types of avocado, a West Indian and a Guatemalan.
Perfect for helping you attempt Kourtney K’s signature avocado pudding; the one TikTok star Addison Rae also noted as the “best thing she’s ever eaten”.
So, if that doesn’t have you sold, I don’t know what will.
Tesco Avozilla giant avocados are available in 70 stores nationwide for €4 from tomorrow, Friday, August 28.
