The Love Island 2022 Start Date Has Been Revealed And We Don’t Have Too Long To Wait
"Fans can expect a long, hot summer of fun"
Good news today, as Love Island 2022 is very much underway.
The release date for the eighth season of the show has been shared, and we only have around eight weeks to wait for it too.
The date June 6th is in the diary as the kick off date for the show. It looks like the show is starting earlier than usual, as the producers have said that they’re looking for a switch up this year.
Moving villas and opening up their applications for a more inclusive line up, this season is set to be longer than any other we’ve seen before, with more twists and turns thrown in for entertainment value.
“The schedules are being put together now and fans can expect a long, hot summer of fun from the villa from June 6,” a source told The Sun.
“This series is going to be the longest ever and it’s from a brand new location so it’s all very exciting”
Continuing on, they added:
“Filming for the promotional adverts is beginning in the next couple of weeks and the ads will start in May”
However, ITV are yet to confirm the release date, with them saying: “It’s too soon for us to confirm the schedule”
Either way, the countdown is ON.
