The Low-Down On That Yewande Biala And Lucie Donlan ‘Feud’

Lucie has claimed that Yewande 'bullied' her

It came to light yesterday that ex Love Islanders Yewande Biala and Lucie Donlan don’t exactly see eye to eye. Having issues in the villa that were never aired on TV, it seems that some old disagreements the pair had are being brought back up, with Lucie claiming that Yewande is a ‘bully’, with Yewande and other contestants rejecting that claim.

Things first began when a fan screenshotted an exchange between Lucie and another following on her Instagram page, in the exchange Lucie says that Yewande ‘bullied’ her.

“How do you feel about Yewande saying you’re a horrible person?” the fan asked.

“She’s always bullied me. I’m not bothered about her opinion… makes her look bad. Not sure where she said that though!” Lucie replied.

Getting wind of Lucie’s claims, Yewande took to her Twitter account to share her side of the story. Without mentioning Lucie’s name, Yewande wrote:

“You refused to call me by my name because it was too ‘hard to pronounce’ now you wanna say I bullied you !! Bullied”

Yewande has the support of fellow islanders, as both Amber Gill and Amy Hart rushed to the replies section to back Yewande up.

“Na when she said can I call you ‘Y’ I said lol no you can’t can I just call you ‘her’ you were peaceful in that exchange It was me with the vim” Love Island winner Amber Gill said.

“Is there really NOTHING else I can call you?” added Amy Hart.

Since then, Lucie has now spoken out about the situation between the two, stating that everything has been blown out of proportion.

Speaking with MailOnline Lucie said: “These are really old comments dug up purely to incite a row between two females”

“In this day and age and with everything going on in the world, we should all be sticking together not attacking each other. I’ve been sent death threats which are incredibly scary as you can imagine”

Explaining the situation with Yewande’s name she continued: “I said on the show I had trouble pronouncing Yewande’s name, it’s just what I’m like”

“And I asked if I could use a shortened abbreviated version of her name instead as a term of endearment – there’s nothing sinister to it”

“I regret how just a few old comments sent 18 months ago has snowballed like this and got out of hand, and drummed up some needless negativity”

“Can we all just move on from this please?”
