The Queen Of Twitter, Chrissy Teigen Is Back On The App
"I’ve spent weeks just saying tweets to shampoo bottles."
When Chrissy Teigen announced last month that she was leaving Twitter, we almost deleted the app ourselves. She was arguably one of the funniest celebs on there, never afraid to post a cheeky tweet, get involved in a debate or make fun of herself.
In March the star revealed she was leaving the social media platform, sharing a thread saying goodbye to her many followers. Explaining why she no longer wanted to be on the app she said; “For over 10 years, you guys have been my world.”
“I honestly owe so much to this world we have created here. I truly consider so many of you my actual friends.”
She continued, “But it’s time for me to say goodbye. This no longer serves me as positively as it serves me negatively, and I think that’s the right time to call something.”

However, this weekend, not even one month after quitting Twitter, she’s back!
Posting for the first time since the 25th of March she said; “turns out it feels TERRIBLE to silence yourself and also no longer enjoy belly chuckles randomly throughout the day and also lose like 2000 friends at once lol.”
Continuing she joked; “I’ve spent weeks just saying tweets to shampoo bottles” proving that having her back on Twitter can only be a good thing for us.

Many of her fans did express their concern at her quick return, as her initial reason for leaving was to protect her mental health. When she shared that she was quitting Twitter she said; “My life goal is to make people happy. The pain I feel when I don’t is too much for me.”
“I’ve always been portrayed as the strong clap back girl but I’m just not,” she added.
Hopefully she’s feeling good about returning, as she said herself; “I choose to take the bad with the good!!”
We’re certainly happy to see her back.
