The Reason Cheryl Kept Her Pregnancy A Secret For So Long Has Been Revealed – And It Isn’t What You Think

As far a celebrity pregnancies go, few have garnered more speculation and discussion than Cheryl’s.

Rumours started back in September when Chezza’s mum was spotted buying baby bits in Mothercare and they didn’t stop until Cheryl officially confirmed the news by sporting a baby bump in her new campaign with L’Oreal and The Princes Trust last week.

Despite the meticulous media scrutiny, Cheryl remained schtum right up until the very last minute, but why?

Plenty of people speculated that the Fight For This Love singer was merely dragging it out to create a media buzz and extra publicity for her career, but according to a source, that simply wasn’t the case.

Turns out, Cheryl was just a “nervous” about “jinxing” her good news.

“Following two public divorces and wanting a baby for so long, Cheryl has been nervous about this pregnancy,” a source revealed to Closer Magazine.

“She was scared that after years of bad luck. She may jinx the best thing that ever happened to her, which prompted her to stay silent – despite the fact she’s been wanting to shout about her pregnancy from the rooftops.”

So there you have it. Chezza wasn’t trying to mess with us, she was just being cautious.
