The Saga Continues, Taylor Swift Says She Was Framed While Kim Kardashian Slams Her Over That Leaked Phone Call

The T Swift V The Wests is the gift that just keeps on giving, and there have been a few new revelations in the past 24 hours. 

Both Taylor and Kim have responded to the leaked phone call, and their opinions… Well, let’s just say they differ. 

Responding first, Taylor Swift took to her Instagram to take the opportunity to speak out about the phone call to promote a charity, but she did get a few digs in first, don’t be worrying! 

She wrote:

“Instead of answering those who are asking how I feel about video footage that was leaked, proving that I was telling the truth the whole time about *that call* (you know, the one that was illegally recorded, that somebody edited and manipulated in order to frame me and put me, my family, and fans through hell for 4 years),”

And then swiftly (pun intended) moved on to say:

“Swipe up to see what really matters.”

To which she linked to the charities The World Health Organisation and Feed America. 

In response to the above, Kim then took to Instagram to deliver her side of the story through a lengthy statement that was put out via a series of tweets, where she slams Taylor Swift, calling her a ‘liar’ and ‘self-serving’.

“@taylorswift13 has chosen to reignite an old exchange – that at this point in time feels very self-serving given the suffering millions of real victims are facing right now,” she said. 

Kim also admits that she’s embarrassed to be involving herself in such drama amid the COVID-19 pandemic, but she feels the record needs to be set straight once and for all.

“I never edited the footage (another lie) – I only posted a few clips on Snapchat to make my point and the full video that recently leaked doesn’t change the narrative.”

“This is the last time I will speak on this because honestly, nobody cares. Sorry to bore you all with this. I know you are all dealing with more serious and important matters.”

It’s likely that the drama has been put to rest for now, while both sides have had their say. 

But, we’re also sure it’ll all resurrect again once the coronavirus crisis is over, and we can’t wait for *ding ding round two*.
