The Top Baby Names Of 2019 Have Been Revealed

We’re nearing the end of yet another year, which means it’s time for yet another round up of baby names. If you’re not expecting a little bundle of joy, it’s interesting to get an insight into what’s what. Or, sometimes the nosiness just takes over. Well, the top baby names of 2019 have been revealed by BabyCentre, and they’re quite adorable.

The most popular girl’s names were: 

Olivia, for the second year running.

Sophia

Lucy

Ellen

Karen

As far as names go, they’re pretty normal. But it seems earth friendly names are also increasing, with Forrest, Ivy, Willow, Holly, Jasmine, Iris and Olive becoming pretty popular too. Greta has also seen a pretty big increase in popularity, thanks to Greta Thunberg.

The most popular boy’s names were: 

Mohammed

Noah

Leo

It’s no surprise that Mohammed has taken first place, given it’s the most popular name worldwide. There’s nothing too shocking, although we’re a little surprised to not see Jon taking a spot after the madness that was Game Of Thrones.
