These Gorge #Repeal Jackets Go On Sale Tonight, But You’ll Have To Move Fast
Each design is a one-off, and all four are on offer in Dublin this evening.
Anna Cosgrave’s REPEAL jumpers were a massive success when they were released online and via a number of pop-up shops this summer, proving that there’s an immense market out there for people wishing to express their political views in more creative ways than a simple tweet.
Tonight’s Someone You Love exhibition is capitalising on that demand, with the hopes of raising funds for the Abortion Rights Campaign along the way.
The exhibition, organised by ARC campaigner Aifric Ní Chríodáin, takes place at 6.30pm at Dublin’s Copper House on Synge Street. Attendees will have their pick of a range of “pro-choice and pro-Repeal art from 20 of Ireland’s finest established and emerging artists,” with a mix of prints and one-off pieces averaging around €35 each. Tickets have sold out, unforch, but Aifric’s promised that any extra prints will be made available online in the coming days.
Taking a look through some of the pieces though, it’s hard to imagine there’ll be many left spare…
