These Throwback Pics Of Perrie Edwards Prove Just *How Much* She’s Changed Over The Years

Perrie Edwards has gone through one helluva transformation since first appearing on the X Factor in 2011 and it’s only when you see the before and after pics alongside one another that you realise how much she’s changed.

Six years ago, when Pez was just 17, she stepped onto the X Factor stage in the hope of launching her solo career. Wearing a nude mini-dress and a costume jewellery headband, the South Shields-native sang You Oughta Know by Alanis Morissette to a *very* unimpressed Louis Walsh.

But since then, she’s gone on a fashion and beauty journey and has gotten to 2017 looking nothing like she used to.

Let’s flash back to April 2014 when the Little Mix star posted her very first Instagram pic. Posing alongside her beloved pooch, Perrie could literally be any of us. There’s none of the heavy make-up we see her wearing today, and there’s not even a hint of glam.

Later that year, she entered her cool girl and self-proclaimed ‘gangsta’ phase, which coincided with her relationship with Zayn Malik. Perrie wore a lot of backward caps and bandanas on her head, which she often paired with bright red lippy.

Before becoming the glamorous superstar we all know and love today, Perrie was the ultimate girly-girl. Think fluffy puppies, pink Frozen tees, and kisses with Mickey Mouse.

She also had a Hannah Baker from 13 Reason Why vibe going on in 2015, and that was before we even knew who Hannah Baker was. That was soon followed by an array of hair dyes, from pink to blue, as well as lots of hair and lash extensions and.

 

Now, Perrie is rocking the most gorgeous platinum blonde ‘do we’ve ever seen.
