This Cork Woman Has Just Been Named The New Editor-In-Chief Of Glamour Magazine
Huge congratulations to Samantha

Irish woman Samantha Barry has just been announced by Condé Nast as the new Editor-In-Chief of Glamour magazine in the USA.
The former Head of Social Media and Emerging Media at CNN, will become the eighth editor of the popular women’s mag when she takes over from Cindi Leive, as soon as next week!
Samantha, 36, from Co. Cork is the first Glamour editor to have a solely digital net of experience, as the company continues to make significant changes to their print vs online content.
It was announced in 2017 that Glamour UK would be changing from a monthly publication to a bi-annual instalment, with the focus moving directly towards Glamour.co.uk.
As well as this, other publications under the Condé Nast are Teen Vogue, Architectural Digest and GQ, have all toned down their print offerings and moving mainly online.
When the announcement was made, Editor-In-Chief of Vogue Magazine and Artistic Director of Condé Nast, Anna Wintour, said Samantha was “fearless”.
“We recognized at once that Sam would be the perfect editor for a new more ambitious era of Glamour’s future,” she said. “We can not wait to see her vision unfold.”
We are so happy to see this amazingly talented Irish woman do so well!
