This Guy Sent An Eminem-Style Rap Complaint To ASOS… And Their Response Was Epic
Yaaaaas, Rianna from ASOS Here To Help. Yaaaaas.
Twitter is a minefield of brand eff-ups (Dorothy Perkins’ #FridayFeeling Brexit tweet, anyone?) but sometimes large companies just get it right.
Or, their witty customer service/social media teams do, at least.
Today the Twitter Medal of Honour goes to Rianne from ASOS’s Here To Help team, who crafted the perfect reply to a particularly witty complaint.
Jay Whalley recently returned a French Connection jumper to the online retailer by post, but had yet to receive the money back into his bank account. His solution? Write a complaint on the official ASOS Facebook page, in the style of Eminem’s Stan:
That alone is amazing enough, but it’s Rianna’s reply – sent by Facebook messenger – that really had us clapping:
“Dear Jay, I meant to write you sooner but I just been busy
You said you returned your blazer, how long ago?
Look, I’m really flattered you would say you’re our biggest fan
And here’s an autograph for your brother
Can you send me your order number,
Email address and date of birth
And I’ll love into this for you,
Thanks, ASOS Rianna.”
