This Is How Much This Year’s I’m A Celeb Contestants Are Getting Paid

There are MASSIVE pay gaps here.

We can only assume the contestants on I’m A Celeb get paid an obnoxious amount of money to live in the conditions displayed on the show. This year, it’s been reported that ITV spent nearly £2 million on the celebs for the show. Wow.

OddsMonkey have revealed the celebs that are earning the most and least from doing the show, and it’s a pretty mixed batch.

Noel Edmonds, who is due to enter the jungle tonight, is the highest paid contestant ever, receiving a cheque for a whopping £600,000 to be on the show. Former footie manager Harry Redknapp follows close second, taking home £500,000 for taking part.

The next highest paid contestant is DIY SOS host Nick Knowles, who’s being paid £200,000, closely followed by actor and entertainer John Barrowman, who will receive £150,000.

Former EastEnders actress Rita Simons will receive a £90,000 pay cheque, while The Chase star Anne Hegerty is next in line securing a £75,000 deal.

Emily Atack, Fleur East, James McVey, and Sair Khan are all being paid £40,000 – £25k more than this year’s lowest paid contestant Malique Thompson-Dwyer, who will pocket just £15,000. Poor Malique.

Despite the pay gaps, one thing that’s for certain is the celebs being guaranteed massive amounts of promotion and deals once they leave the jungle. So win win all round?
