This Is Why Jennifer Aniston Had To ‘Walk Out’ Of The Friends Reunion Show

Jennifer Aniston has revealed that filming the Friends reunion show was quite difficult for her, with her at one point opting to step outside to gather herself.

Chatting to the Hollywood Reporter Jennifer says that while she originally thought that revisiting the show and her old pals would be nothing but fun, she soon realised that it’s a blast from the past that she wasn’t quite mentally prepared for.

“I think we were just so naive walking into it (the reunion), thinking, ‘How fun is this going to be? They’re putting the sets back together, exactly as they were.”

Explaining that she has gone through some hard times in her life between filming Friends wrapped and now, Jennifer continued:

“And it just took me by surprise because it was like, ‘Hi, past, remember me? Remember how that sucked? You thought everything was in front of you and life was going to be just gorgeous and then you went through maybe the hardest time in your life?”

Going on Jennifer said that eventually things became too much for her and she had to take a breather at points throughout the day.

“It was all very jarring and, of course, you’ve got cameras everywhere and I’m already a little emotionally accessible, I guess you could say, so I had to walk out at certain points. I don’t know how they cut around it”

Of course, the reunion show was a huge success both here in Ireland and around the world, with 5.3 million viewers tuning in on the night.
