This Selling Sunset Star Has Left The Show

Another realtor has left the agency!

The Oppenheim Group has lost one of its realtors!

Selling Sunset star Maya Vander has decided to leave the show and focus on her family and business in Miami, where she has her own real estate agency.

Speaking to Page Six Maya said, “I decided to not execute my contract. I love the show, and it was great, but I’m excited to focus on the Miami real estate market.

“I want to focus on my family, and flying coast to coast is a lot. The show is great, and I love everyone, but looking forward to growing my business in South Florida,” she continued.

Maya recently announced the sad news that she suffered a miscarriage just six months after the still birth of her son. Posting on her Instagram story, Maya congratulated the rest of the cast for getting two more seasons of the show, but explained her reasons for not returning, writing;

“So…. I’m very proud of my Selling Sunset family for getting two more seasons and hopefully Emmy nomination. I decided to not go on with the show and it was not an easy decision! Being a part of such a successful hit is absolutely amazing and I am so grateful for!!

“The last few months were not easy. Losing a baby at 38 weeks following a miscarriage is just too much to handle. I just want to be home with my husband and beautiful kids who l absolutely adore. Focusing on growing my Maya Vander Group and joining Compass is the right decision for me to move forward.

“I am so grateful for @netflix Adam, Skyler and of course Jason for such a great run! Now… let’s get an Emmy.”

This is the second agent to leave the Oppenheim Group recently as Christine Quinn previously announced her departure and now has her own brokerage called RealOpen. However, it looks like we will still have Christine on our screens as it is believed she will be the rival agency of the Oppenheim Group in the next series.

On the brighter side, two more seasons means we will be getting our Selling Sunset fix for a while to come!
