The Oscar nominated movie is BACK for a sequel!

Good news Timothée Chalamet fans (everyone with a pulse), the American actor is set to reprise his role as Elio Periman for the Call Me By Your Name sequel.

Confirming the news in Italian newspaper La Repubblica, Call Me by Your Name filmmaker Luca Guadagnino shared the good news saying that the Oscar-winning flick was coming back with a second helping.

What’s even better, and has us seriously excited is that he confirmed the original stars Timothée Chalamet, Armie Hammer and Michael Stuhlbarg would also be coming back to the big screen.

“Of course, it was a great pleasure to work with Timothée Chalamet, Armie Hammer, Michael Stuhlbarg, Esther Garrel and the other actors. Everyone will be in the new movie,” Guadagnino told La Repubblica.

Armie Hammer played Timothée Chalamet’s summer romance in the first movie and so, we can’t wait to see how that story progresses in the next chapter.

Timothée Chalamet recently spoke out about how heartbroken he was that Italy was going through such a tough time amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking last month, the star sent his prayers to everyone, but especially to people in the little Italian village of Crema, where the shot Call Me By Your Name.

“I’m thinking of EVERYONE in hotspots right now, young and old, but CREMA- my heart is with you,” the 24-year-old wrote on Twitter.
