Travis Barker’s Ex-Wife Is Auctioning Off Her Engagement Ring Following His Lavished Wedding To Kourtney K

Shanna's also sharing her thoughts on Kourtney and Travis' lavished Italian wedding

  Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s Italian wedding is the talk of the town, and we’re guessing it will probably inspire a new gothic mixed with classic Italian glam wedding trend. But that isn’t all it’s inspired.

Kravis’ high profile wedding actually prompted Travis’ ex wife Shanna Moakler to auction off her engagement ring from their marriage.

The 4-carat round cut solitaire diamond ring is being sold on the Worthy auction site and is currently selling for $70,252 (around €65,440), although Shanna is hoping it will reach $120,000 (around €111,780).

As for why the former Miss USA decided to sell her ring, she told US Weekly, “I think it is a beautiful piece and truly was my dream ring.”

“However, that chapter of my life is over and even though wearing it at one time brought me great joy, I hope it will find a new home and continue to bring someone as much happiness as it once did to me. It’s truly an iconic ring!”

Travis and Shanna got engaged in 2003, when the Blink-182 drummer popped the question during The Haunted Mansion Ride at Disneyland. The pair married in 2004, having an on-again-off again relationship, finally calling it quits and getting divorced in 2008.

They share three kids; Atiana, Landon, and Alabama.

As for what the actress thought about Travis’ recent OTT wedding, Shanna had only good things to say. Telling US Weekly, “I wish the happy couple a lovely marriage. I will continue to only want the best for my children.”

“It was a beautiful gesture to include my children in such a gorgeous affair.”

This marks a big departure from the past drama between Kravis and Shanna.

Previously there had been a lot of conflict between the bunch, with plenty of social media shade, and callouts in interviews. In fact it was just in October last year, that Shanna was shading Kourtney and Travis’ Halloween costumes.

Kourt and Travis dress up as Alabama Whitman and Clarence Worley from the film True Romance.

The former Playboy model then took to her Instagram Story to share a photo of her parents cuddling and wrote “TRUE ROMANCE” over it.

In the background of the photo, she played “You’re So Cool” by Hans Zimmer, which is the theme song of the True Romance film.

Shanna has previously discussed how important of a film True Romance was for her and Travis’ relationship and her discomfort with Kourtney and Travis bonding over the film.

After Kourtney posted a snap of her and Travis enjoying True Romance back in May 2021, Shanna told US Weekly:

“What was weird is that they were posting about a movie (True Romance) that Travis and I basically bonded over.

“I called him Clarence in the movie. We named our daughter after the character Alabama in the movie. I walked down the aisle to ‘You’re So Cool’ from True Romance. Our first dance at our wedding was to the love song from True Romance.”

But it seems they’ve all put the drama behind them now!
