Travis Barker’s Ex Wife Shanna Moakler Says Kardashians Are ‘Destroying’ Her Family

Travis Barker’s ex wife Shanna Moakler is not on great terms with her ex husband…or his wife…or their family.

The American model has made it clear over the years that she isn’t a fan of Travis’ relationship with Kourtney Kardashian; and that she also doesn’t think the Kardashians are very good people in general.

In 2021, Shanna told TMZ that the family were ‘destroying’ her relationship with her children, and driving a wedge between her family.

She told the publication, “My family’s broken because of this family, and now my kids are alienated from each other because of another sister in this family.”

The situation was made more awkward later down the line by Shanna’s children claiming their mother had been “absent”, implying that any distance between them wasn’t coming from their end.

Shanna and Travis share two biological children, Alabama (18) and Landon (20), and Travis also helped to raise Shanna’s daughter from a previous relationship, Atiana (24).

On an Instagram Live, daughter Alabama claimed she hadn’t heard from or seen her mother in seven months at the time, while Landon said she was an “absent parent”, according to Buzzfeed.

Now, Shanna is speaking out again about how she believes this is Travis and the Kardashian’s fault.

Speaking on the podcast Dumb Blonde yesterday, Shanna shared that she feels she’s being one-upped by the couple.

“When Travis got with Kourtney, there was some parental alienation going on there, where Travis — even when we weren’t together — always wanted to be the ‘super dad’.

“‘I’m the best parent. I’m the this and that, and I’m like, ‘Bro, you win,’” Shanna shared. “Like, you’re the winner here. You have all the money and you have all this. You’re the winner.”

Speaking of how the Kardashians play a part in the situation, Shanna called the family “disgusting”, and said her children are wrapped up in their fame.

“I think there was a lot of glitter and fame and they watched them on TV and now their dad is dating one and they’re going to be on the show. And I think they got caught up in that, which young kids would do,” she said. 

She went on to say, “They’re buying them Prada, and they’re buying them gifts, and they’re going to these events and they’re meeting Kanye and, you know, all this big stuff…I can’t give them that. I don’t have that. I don’t have access to that. I don’t have the money to do that…my house isn’t a mansion like Travis’. I don’t have a movie theater. I don’t have golf carts for you kids to drive.”

Then, Shanna tried to put to bed the idea that she’s been an absent mother.

“Fuck you, that family,” she said, adding, “I removed myself so that they couldn’t bond with my children over hating me.”

Well, that’s pretty intense. We hope the family can all grow and heal together – and that the Barker kids do what’s best for them.

Travis and Kourtney have not responded to Shanna’s comments.
