Tributes Pour In For 26-Year-Old Mac Miller, Whose Untimely Death Has Shocked The Music World

Last night the news broke of the tragic death of 26-year-old US rapper Mac Miller.

The star, who was found dead in his home in the San Fernando Valley in California, died of an apparent drug overdose.

Some of us know of the rapper due to his many hit singles, as well as his very public battle with drug addiction, which he openly spoke about in the past.

Some also may know him as the ex-boyfriend of pop superstar Ariana Grande, whom he sang alongside during last year’s One Love Manchester benefit concert.

Regardless of how anyone best knew of the young man, the music industry has tragically lost another young talent due to the devastating issue of drug abuse, and his popularity has been evident across social media ever since the heartbreaking news broke.

I dont know what to say Mac Miller took me on my second tour ever. But beyond helping me launch my career he was one of the sweetest guys I ever knew. Great man. I loved him for real. Im completely broken. God bless him.

This just really saddened me. I hung out with Mac a few times over the years and he was always such a sweetheart, always had the time of day for anyone, whoever they were. As well as being a great talent, he was a great human. Love and prayers to his family and friends. I don’t know what else to say. It’s so heartbreaking.
