Troian Belisario Upcycled Her Wedding Dress For The Golden Globes

Yes, we’re still thinking and even talking about the Golden Globes. It’s the start of the awards season and that little distraction that we need in the gloomy weeks of January.

Troian Bellisario (Pretty Little Liars fans will know exactly who she is) walked the red carpet of the Golden Globes in a simply stunning gown. The best part? She recycled her wedding dress for the occasion. It’s not often we hear of celebs rewearing and upcycling their outfits, sure why would they?

Troian wore a gorgeous Cortana Bridal gown for her 2016 wedding to Suits star Patrick J. Adams, and then took half the dress to be redesigned for the Golden Globes red carpet. For their wedding day, Troian’s dress was a silky, ivory number with sheer sleeves and a sweetheart neckline, cute. But the high waisted, pleated skirt of her bridal gown was paired with a beige silky top for the night that was in it, and it was just beautiful.
