Troye Sivan Has Called Out An Interviewer For Being ‘Invasive’ And ‘Inappropriate’

Troye Sivan has many titles to his name, he started out as a singer and Youtuber, before properly breaking into the music industry and acting in major films.

So there is plenty that one could ask the talented Aussie born man.

A recent interview for Troye’s Bloom tour however, failed to ask much about any of that.

Instead, the interviewer spent several questions talking about his own accent, which was only the beginning.

After this, he asked about Will and Grace, Thirst Traps and whether he was a ‘top or bottom’. Eeek.

Troye’s fans hit out on Twitter labelling the interview lazy and heavy in homophobic stereotypes.

“Who’s this interviewer the bar is on the floor” one person said.

“At least 50% of those questions were connected to sex.. Wtf is this even” another pointed out.

Another said: “literally all of these questions are about sex, his love life or his sexuality. you don’t ask someone if they’re a top or bottom ew. also why would he watch will and grace? just because there’s a gay character?”

Troye himself then took to Twitter to have his say about the uncomfortable interview, which he labelled ‘invasive’.
