Twitter Reacts to Gwyneth Paltrow’s New Netflix Show The Goop Lab
Yes, the show is as bonkers as it sounds.
When Gwyneth announced that Goop was getting it’s own show we were instantly curious.
The wellness site gets a lot of criticism online for offering advice on medical conditions and life’s big problems with often questionable solutions.
Whether you love her or loath her Paltrow has created a wellness empire that many flock towards.
This year she even announced a Goop cruise that wealthy women can spend eye-watering amounts on attending in the hopes of becoming more enlightened, healthy and in tune with their energies.
We are always interested in as what she’ll do next, only this month she released a vagina scented candle that sold out in minutes, so clearly she’s doing something right.
Goop’s most recent endeavour is a six part Netflix show which delves deep into different aspects of wellness. Expect energy exorcisms, plunging into ice baths, masturbation workshops and controlled magic mushroom dosing.
Yes, it’s as bonkers as it sounds.
The internet and the media has had a field day since the show aired yesterday with many tearing it to shreds. We couldn’t watch it fast enough, like literally hook this woo-woo nonsense to our veins, it’s as fascinating as it is ridiculous.
The best part of watching? Scrolling through Twitter afterwards, the reactions were mixed to say the least.
“We get one life so why not milk the shit out of it?” Gwyneth Paltrow in Goop Lab distilling the modern woman’s gasping fear that she may not live her best life – and basically the premise of my entire book – in one sentence

The Goop Lab starts with a “disclaimer” that says the show is “designed to entertain and inform – not provide medical advice.”
Nice try, Gwyneth. You’re still a snake oil salesman.
