Tyga Just Got Brutally Honest About What It Was Like Dating Kylie Jenner

He also spoke about his feelings for her now.

Kylie Jenner first met Tyga when she was 14 and he was asked to perform at her older sister, Kendall’s, 16th birthday party. They started hanging out after that, and first romantically got together in 2014, just as his relationship with Black Chyna was coming to an end.

However, they broke up seven months ago and the 27-year-old rapper has finally spoken out about what it was like to date the 19-year-old beauty mogul.

Speaking to Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, he said, “I have love for her but I’m not in love no more. When you’re with anybody that first year, it’s magic, and then after that you start realising a bunch of shit.”

He went on to say that their age difference was a huge factor in the breakdown of their relationship. He noted that she was too influenced by what people thought of her.

“I think the main thing was a lot of people — a lot of outside influences… She’s younger than me and she’s dealing with perception,” he said.

“I’m older so I can deal with perception. But for her, growing up how she grew up, image and perception was everything. So you have a bunch of people pulling from you and you’re still trying to develop as a young woman.”

Tyga also suggested that Kylie’s obsession with Snapchat and Instagram was a turn-off. “I like to keep a mystique”, he said, “But I know that’s how she made her money”, but in the end, one of the biggest issues between them was race.

“For the last seven months we ain’t been together, have there been any negative stories out?” he asked. “All I’m saying is whoever controls this kind of media doesn’t like seeing rappers with these types of women, especially young white women, and it’s just how it is.”

He concluded his description of their tumultuous relationship by saying, “I mean, when it was good, it was good. When it was bad, it was really bad.”
