Vanessa Hudgens And Her Boyfriend Of 9 Years, Austin Butler Have Reportedly Broken Up

It seems that there’s heartache in Hollywood today, as reports have come in that Vanessa Hudgens and her long-term boyfriend Austin Butler have called it quits.

Speaking to US Weekly, a source shared the news saying:

“Vanessa and Austin are officially broken up, and Vanessa has been telling those close to her about their breakup”

Usually visible on one another’s social media, some eagle-eyed fans noticed that Vanessa and Austin have been quite absent from each other’s social media feeds in recent months.

The frankly stunning couple first met back in 2005, while on set for High School Musical. For anyone interested, we did our research on this and while Austin never stared in any of the HSM movies, he did play the role of Sharpay’s brother in the spin-off show ‘Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure’.

But back in 2005, Vanessa was otherwise preoccupied with a certain Mr. Efron, so it wasn’t until 2011 that Vanessa and Austin began their romance.

As being in a relationship for nearly 9 years is fairly scarce in Hollywood, fans are understandably devastated, and taking to Twitter to question if true love even exists, coz clearly we’re mad for a bit of melodrama.

Both Vanessa and Austin are yet to confirm the split. But, not being on one another’s Insta grids is enough confirmation for us, the deal is sadly sealed *broken heart emoji*.
