Viewers Were Not Happy With Last Night’s Love Island

That was pretty annoying!

The drama is heating up and this season is proving to be one of the best so far, we think, but there’s something fans are getting sick of and they are letting their feelings be known.

After a juicy episode, the Islanders were gathered around the firepit to find out one girl and one boy will be dumped from the Island, we were teased as the names of the least popular Islanders were read one by one via ominous text. This led to Tasha, Ekin-Su, Amber, Ikenna, Jay and Andrew at risk of going home.

In true Love Island fashion, we were left on a major cliffhanger, having to tune in tonight to see who is leaving the villa- and fans are fuming.

Taking to Twitter they shared their annoyance with the show’s favourite ending.

And although we all feel the same about having to wait for the goss on tonight’s show, the producers know we will keep coming back.

Mike Spencer, executive producer was answering questions on Reddit before this season started and someone asked, “Will you please STOP ending episodes at the fire pit? Makes only the first 15 minutes of every episode the most dramatic. Ending on a cliffhanger is not it.”

Mike answered like a true reality show producer, and tbh we don’t blame him. Standing by the episode ending decision he said, “So in terms of ending the episodes at the fire pit I have to say I think sometimes it’s brilliantly entertaining to end on a cliffhanger. I think if we ended the episode with everything revealed you would be left dissatisfied when you tuned in the next night?”

He knows us too well, we will be firmly planted on our sofas tonight to find out who is gone, as we will every night for the remainder of the show!
