Here’s a sentence I never thought I’d write: It seems Chloe Ferry and Wayne Lineker are engaged. Confused? Plenty of people are.

Chloe, who found fame on Geordie Shore, has been taking part in Celebs Go Dating, along with Wayne Lineker. If Wayne’s Instagram is anything to go by, it looks like the pair are now an item. More so, that they’re actually engaged.

Sharing an engagement pic on Instagram, Wayne wrote, “She said YES! Love you @chloegshore1 🧡💍😉”

Wayne’s son, Sean, commented, “Congrats! Can’t believe we had to keep this secret for so long !! Xx”, while Chloe’s friend Bethan Kershaw simply wrote ‘my favourites’.

We can’t be sure right now if the news is 100% legit or not. The Celebs Go Dating official Instagram account commented suspicious emojis underneath the post, while Chloe hasn’t shared anything to her account at all. Plus, Wayne’s use of the winking emoji and the fact that he shared a screenshot of his name trending on Twitter shortly afterwards.

Of course, we know Wayne was looking for a girlfriend after he shared his list of ‘requirements’, which included being a ‘worldie’, and to ‘never have shared a teeth whitening post’. Okay.
