Watch: The Trailer For Caroline Flack’s Documentary

The film is said to be "Her story, told by those who knew her best"

A year on from the tragic passing of TV presenter Caroline Flack, a documentary is set to be released to give a closer insight to what it’s like to live under extreme media scrutiny.

The show has been in the making for the last year, and a trailer has now been released, with the narrating dubbing the show “Her story, told by those who knew her best.”

Entitled Caroline Flack: Her Life And Death, the documentary interviews many people closest to Caroline, including her mum, sister, and celebrity friends Olly Murs and Dermot O’Leary.

There is yet to be a release date given at the time of writing, but the new trailer has revealed that it’s ‘coming soon’ to Channel 4.

In the emotional trailer, we see clips of Caroline over the years, from when she was a young girl to most recently just before her tragic death. The intent of the documentary is to highlight the pressure a life full of scrutiny puts on an individual, and to shed some of the light surrounding her breakdown.

The film’s commissioning editor Lee McMurray recently said that she was working with Caroline throughout 2019, agreeing that they would work on a film to tell her life story:

“After working closely with Caroline throughout 2019, we agreed to make a film with her that would tell her story and reveal what it’s like to live in the glare of such intense scrutiny”

“Sadly, that film will never be made. We hope this project will be a testament to Caroline’s character, work and legacy, and we’re deeply grateful to her family and friends for their involvement.”

The trailer can be seen below.
