We Can All Breathe A Sigh Of Relief, The John Lewis Ad Is Here

The moment we have all been waiting for, the John Lewis advert is finally here.

Each year John Lewis produce a Christmas advert that tugs on heartstrings and brings a tear to our eye, and we are happy to report that this year is absolutely no different.

The two-and-a-half minute-long clip shows Edgar the adorable little dragon struggle to contain his excitement for anything Christmas and with that, his instinct to breathe fire, causing havoc amongst the town.

But, as Edgar’s tale continues he is given the perfect Christmas assignment from his human friend and is asked to channel his fire breathing ways into heating the Christmas pudding, and the scene warms both the desert and our hearts.

Bastille’s main singer Dan Smith lent his vocals for this year’s ad with an uplifting rendition of REO Speedwagon’s 80’s anthem ‘I Can’t Fight This Feeling’, and if you haven’t seen it yet we would definitely recommend taking a look at it below.
