We Have Our Love Island 2023 Winners – But Some Fans Aren’t Happy!

Viewers are divided!

We finally have our Love Island 2023 winners – Jess and Sammy.

The couple’s victory was announced last night by Maya Jama at the Love Island live final, where the public voted between the four pairs of finalists; Sammy and Jess, Whitney and Lochan, Ella and Tyrique, and Molly and Zach.

Molly and Zach came in fourth place, Ella and Tyrique in third, and then Whitney and Lochan were announced runners up.

Jess and Sammy seemed totally surprised and over the moon with the results – but not everyone shares the feeling!

A number of fans took to Twitter to complain that Whitney and Lochan should have won, considering their journey was less tumultuous than Sammy and Jess’, and the fact that they seemed to be more favoured by the public over the course of the show.

Some people were overjoyed with Sammy and Jess’ win however, with one Twitter user writing “It’s not that deep. Everyone loved Jess”, and others coming to the couples defence.

So it seems the public are divided…but we’re sure that won’t stop anyone from tuning in next time!

What are we going to do at 9pm every night? It’s probably time we got a hobby…
