Back by popular demand from many kids *cough* mums, Tom Hardy has reprised his role on CBeebies ‘Bedtime Stories’ for one week only.
‘Tom Week’ will see the hunky actor reading six bedtime stories to children over the course of the week, some influenced by the current climate while others are your stereotypical sweet stories.
The first clip to land on our desk sees Tom sitting in his garden in Richmond, London, reading the story Hug Me by Simone Ciraolo.
“Now sometimes, on a day like this, I feel strong and happy. But on other days I just want someone to give me a hug,” the Peaky Blinders actor revealed.
Eh, Tom, over here, arms wide open.

The full story will be released tonight on BBC iPlayer with each story starting at 6:50pm.
Some other stories throughout Tom Week will include quar-esque title Under the Same Sky by Robert Vescio and Nicky Johnston, which is about two children living on opposite sides of the world who crave friendship. There’s a Tiger in the Garden by Lizzy Stewart and Don’t Worry, Little Crab by Chris Haughton.
It is also noted that Tom’s cute little dog, Blue will be joining him for some of the readings. I’m sure the kids will be THRILLED to know that.
As for us, to continue providing informative journalism, it’s only right that we also make time to watch these bedtime stories – for reporting purposes and all that jazz.
