What Alix Earle Has Said About Her Split From Braxton Berrios

Alix Earle and Braxton Berrios have split – if you’ve been anywhere near US influencer TikTok this past week, you’ll be more than aware of that fact.

The creator and NFL player were in a relationship for two years before Alix allegedly called it quits, apparently “blindsiding” Braxton, who seemingly had no idea the breakup was coming.

Alix, who recently appeared on Dancing With The Stars US, has since said that the split was mutual following reports that she made the decision to call it quits.

On TikTok this week, she said: “It’s just been really hard to process in general, and I think why I’ve been scared to say something is because I feel like it just makes it more real.

“Braxton and I are no longer together. We have been doing long distance since basically June and we haven’t gotten to see each other that often.

“I think that was a scary thing for me to realise because it meant us not being in the same place. A part of me just also really wants to be focusing on myself right now and I just feel like I can’t be what Braxton needs.

“I want him to have someone with him 24/7 who can support him and be there for him—and he wasn’t really expecting that of me, I think it was more a me thing—but I constantly felt guilty.”

Alix went on to say that although she and Braxton are on “different paths” they are still “on good terms.”

She also added that her ex couldn’t come support her at the DWTS live shows “because of football,” but that she didn’t want him receiving hate because of this.

“Part of me just also really wants to be focusing on myself right now, and I just feel like I can’t be what Braxton needs,” she said on TikTok, visibly upset. “I want him to have someone with him 24/7 who can support him and be there for him.”

This comes after Mail Online reported that Braxton was “humiliated” by the split, and that he and Alix were “barely” speaking before the breakup.

“He misses her and the most perfect scenario would be to be back with her, but along with the distance, they would have to figure a few things out before entertaining any type of reconciliation,” a source said.

According to Instagram, Alix is currently celebrating her 25th birthday, while Braxton’s most recent grid post reads: “What did I miss?”
