What?! Beyoncé Could Have A Starring Role In Disney’s Lion King Remake And We Did Not See This Coming

Disney’s live-action remake of the Lion King is en route and according to Variety, Beyoncé has been considered for a starring role.

Insiders say that Queen Bey has been asked to star in the film, but is yet to make a decision as she is currently pregnant with twins.

However, it’s looking good that Bey could indeed agree to the role, as the studio and director have apparently said they will do whatever it takes to accommodate her schedule.

According to Variety, Bey will take on a voice-acting role but it’s unclear what character she’s set to play.

The remake was confirmed in September 2016 and currently has no set release date.

Here’s hoping Bey says yes and signs on the dotted line.
