What Do We Know About Emily Ratajkowski’s Husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard?

In good 2020 news, Emily Ratajkowski and Sebastian Bear-McClard announced that they’re expecting their first child.

Breaking the news in Vogue Magazine, along with a stunning photoshoot, Emily included an essay speaking about her pregnancy announcement, and that although she originally would have liked a baby girl, she doesn’t want to place too much importance on the baby’s gender.

“I don’t like that we force gender-based preconceptions onto people, let alone babies. I want to be a parent who allows my child to show themself to me.”

Continuing, Emily makes a remark about her husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard, noting that she has an inkling he, on the other hand, would like a son, although he denies it.

“I think about my husband and what a son would bring up for him,” she writes. “Is he secretly yearning for a boy? When I ask him, he refuses to give me an answer, swearing that he doesn’t have a preference. But one Sunday as he’s watching football he makes a remark about how it’d be fun to have a little boy to watch with.”

But Emily and Sebastian are determined to raise their child with as little gender stereotypes as possible, as Emily announced in her Vogue feature.

And although we know a lot about the beautiful @Emrata, what do we know about her husband, Sebastian?

Often making a loved-up appearance on Emily’s ‘gram, Sebastian is an indie producer, working in the film industry, which explains how he met Emily.

With his own production company Elara Pictures, Sebastian has worked on high-profile films such as 2017’s Good Time with Robert Pattinson, Still Life in 2006 and most recently, Uncut Gems with Adam Sandler and Jonah Hill.

The 33-year-old who hails from New York is also worth a reported $12 million and has been nominated for several awards at the Gotham Independent Film Awards.

In terms of his romance with Emily, well, it appears like a whirlwind, with the pair getting married 10 days after being first spotted publicly together (remember she wore that incredible Zara jumpsuit on her wedding day?) But it’s believed the pair knew each other for years before actually getting together around Valentine’s Day, 2018.

If you hope to creep through Sebastian’s Instagram too, you won’t find it, as it appears to have vanished. The account he once used to showcase artistic and abstract photos is now deactivated, so, you’re only catch a glimpse will be via Emily’s account for now.
