Wow, one kiss is really all it takes!

Well, that is if you’re Dua Lipa, who was seen kissing comedian Trever Noah on Wednesday night, and since then, the internet has gone wild over the latest celebrity “couple”.

And consider our love for Dua and Trever, our excitement is through the roof for TrevLipa, if you will. But what is actually going on between the pair? And is it too soon to ship?

Well, we’re breaking it all down, starting with their viral date.

So the pair were spotted together in New York on Wednesday night, grabbing dinner together, then heading for a stroll down the street, and ending with a kiss…but a casual goodbye kiss. So considering it’s Dua frecking Lipa and Trever frecking Noah, the internet immediately went wild.

Fellow diners at the restaurant told the Daily Mail: “They were quietly sat away from everyone else at restaurant. It was clear they were into each other and sat close together throughout the meal.”

“They left together and walked, stopping for long embraces and on the second kiss with hugs.”

Sooooo, can we start stalking their feeds, waiting for them to go IG official?

Well, it seems not!

The dinner date was less of a date, more of a dinner, as according to PEOPLE Magazine, it’s purely platonic. With a source saying: “they’re just friends.”

So we might not have a new couple, but TrevLipa lives on as friendship goals.

The news comes as Trever announced his departure from The Daily Show.

Signing off, during the latest episode saying: “I remember when we first started, so many people didn’t believe in us – it was a crazy bet to make,”

“What a journey it’s been, every single one of you who comes to support us every single day, everyone who has watched the show, and it’s grown all around the world.”

“I found myself filled with gratitude for the journey. It’s been absolutely amazing. It’s something I never expected.”

“I realised after seven years, my time is up… but in the most beautiful way.”

Trever took over hosting duties of The Daily Show from fellow comedian Jon Stewart in September 2015.
