What Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week

Somehow, we’re half way through August.

How did this happen? We may never know. What can we do about this? Nothing, but enjoy it.

Here’s what we’ve been enjoying this week.

… A good read

It was my birthday during the week, and I bought myself some presents – most notably, books.

I spent the afternoon wandering around town and hit up a few bookshops and did some much needed browsing with my partner. She recently moved in, and constructed a bookshelf that very much begs to be filled.

And fill it we are, with an array of books from Hodges Figgis including one by Molly Keane, a Japanese cult novel about womanhood, and of course, The Exorcist.

Quite the selection, you’ll agree.

… A cool, chocolatey treat

If there’s anything better than an ice cream on a hot summers day, we’d love to hear about it.

Magnum have just released two new flavours, Double Hazelnut and Double Cherry, and honestly, they sound incredible. 

This duo is the first from the brand to feature a striking marbled ice cream to deliver a truly multisensorial experience with every bite.

Double Hazelnut’s mix of hazelnut and caramel almond flavour ice creams is wrapped in white chocolate with caramelised hazelnut, pistachio.

Double Cherry’s blend of blackcurrant, raspberry and cream flavour marbled ice creams, finished with a sour cherry coulis sauce and coated in classic cracking Magnum milk chocolate with berry-flavoured crunchy pieces.

All we can say is – yum!

Drone’s are all the rage these days. They fly, they capture content, and now then even create art with lights and music!

DroneArt Show: A Music and Drone Show will debut in Ireland for three nights this month – and it looks like a seriously good time.

This one-of-a-kind experience, where classical music meets cutting-edge drone artistry, will take place on 28, 29 and 30 August at Leopardstown Racecourse.

A string quartet performs timeless masterpieces, including Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons and Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, while hundreds of synchronised drones light up the night sky.
